T O P I C R E V I E WChaosThis is really weird. For the past year or two, I keep having dreams in which I would discover never seen before photographs of my younger self. They're different in every dream, I discover them in different dream scenarios, in different places, they just pop up and I'm always excited to see them, but those photos do not exist in real life, nor the events portrayed on the photos ever happened...What could this mean, what do you guys think? I'm really curious about this... Ayelet quote:Originally posted by Chaos:This is really weird. Do these events belong to our time? Do they have an imaginary essence or a realistic essence?RaHello Chaos Ayelet has some good questions. There are several possibilities. These photographs could represent aspects of self, perhaps immature/undeveloped aspects (younger) and/or unknown/unrecognized aspects (never before seen/do not exist). Or perhaps they represent false memories, or a false or illusory image of self, or a distorted sense or image of self. As Ayelet suggested, the events of the photos could reveal a lot, if you can remember those details.Thoughts? ChaosThank you Ayelet & Ra for replying. I don't really remember the events on the photos, but I appeared a lot prettier on the pics, that's for sure ...maybe I do have a distorted self-image? Those photos definitely raise more questions than give me any answers about myself...
